Thailand Heat Warning (Bangkok)

With temperatures set to climb to between 33 and 41.9C over the next few days, The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)  just dropped a heat warning. Thailand’s summer heat can be intense, particularly in cities like Bangkok and across the southern beaches. Temperatures and humidity levels are often very high, especially between late morning and mid-afternoon.

When spending time outdoors, please take precautions: wear high-SPF sunscreen, stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when walking in direct sunlight. Lightweight, breathable clothing and regular breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas are also strongly recommended to avoid heat exhaustion or sunstroke.
