Here is the essential information for travelers entering Bali, Indonesia.
Required Documents & Procedures for Entry into Bali:
Valid Passport, Visa, and Stay Permit
Round-trip Airline Ticket
Registration for “All Indonesia” (Effective from August 18, 2025)
Payment of the Bali Tourism Tax
Details on Entry Requirements:
For tourism purposes, visitors can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Ngurah Rai International Airport or purchase it online in advance. The VOA allows for a maximum stay of 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days.
Starting from August 18, 2025, registration through the new “All Indonesia” system is mandatory. This system replaces the previous health quarantine declaration and electronic customs declaration (e-CD).
Furthermore, as of February 14, 2024, all foreign tourists are required to pay a “Bali Tourism Tax” of IDR 150,000 per person. This tax can be paid online through the official “Love Bali” website or upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Travelers holding an e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) and a passport from eligible countries can use the autogates for a faster immigration process.
