The Penang Hill funicular train will be closed for 7 days due to scheduled maintenance.

Period: June 16th (Mon) to June 22nd (Sun), 2025

During this period, ascending to the top of Penang Hill via the funicular train will not be possible.
To reach the summit, a 4×4 vehicle must be pre-booked.
